Apparently I'm not the only one that checked the page today and immediately thought "WTF! I've been hacked!" They had to pick the most stupid looking avatar in the known world too... I don't like this. I like my avatar. It's much cooler than Pokemon...

Hard to believe I know, but I’m still here… school work and work are eating up most of my time. I keep thinking about something together to upload but that ain’t happening any time soon…

I went to AggieCon today. It’s Texas A&M’s annual convention where we celebrate all things gaming and anime related. There’s also an Art Room and an art auction, and yes, some of the pictures have *gasp* NUDITY! For several years the MSC Board (the people in charge of the venue) have been wanting something done about the nudity. Well, this year they finally won. They censored the art room. I’m pissed. I wasn’t alone (Have you ever seen Todd McCaffrey wearing painter's tape in little X's on his shirt over his nipples in protest? I have, it's funny!). It’s a college for crying out loud! Bastion of free thought and expression right? Apparently not. It’s completely out of line with the policies elsewhere in the university. If the library has a 50 year backlog of Playboy in 2 different media (yes! Microfilm and Hardcopy! I work there, I know.) on the second floor then we can have an uncensored art room. The Campus firewall doesn’t filter out pornographic content. Why? Because it isn’t university policy to support censorship! I mean, who are they protecting? It’s a college campus! How many kids are there!?! Yes, there are some parents who bring their (young) children to Con with them. Fine! You put a sign outside that warns of nudity and let the parents deal with their own dang kids! Anyone who goes in that room knows damn well what's in there! I love the art room. Every year great artists come or send it great stuff. Yes, some of these artists are guys. Yes, some of the artwork contains nudity. So? It’s tasteful and it looks better than the garbage that the university buys and displays all over the MSC to “support the arts.” *gags*

Oh and if anybody wants to check out some great fantasy artwork then check out: ~Corbistiger He comes to AggieCon everyyear and he does great stuff. I don't know how much attention he gets on here though... He got a DD and he has about 100 watchers but I have more pageviews than he does (which just shouldn't happen).

3 weeks after I let my subscription lapse this dang site continues to ask me to re-subscribe. I'm not going to. Quit asking. Here's why:

Gold is at $850-900/ounce. Nah there's actually more to it than that.

After last semester, I'm finally approved to order my senior ring, my Aggie Ring. You'd have to see the male ring to understand but when the price of gold shoots up the price of the ring shoots up. Gold has gone up a lot. Ordering my ring is going to cost $772 (tax included). You'd have to be an Aggie to understand why it's worth that.

My mother is financially unable to help me with it, at all. I have to pay for it myself and it's going to cost basically every dollar I have available with the rest being needed for... well, food. Money for re-subscribing to this site just isn't going to be in the budget. As if that isn't bad enough, this semester is already starting to look a little rough. I won't get to spend much time here so I'd get no satisfaction from the money. Oh well, such is life.

Well, the semester is coming down too it. It's starting to look like 2 As and 2 Bs for a 3.5 semester. I don't know what exactly that'll do to my cumulative average (just bring it down even more). Ah Well.

It's starting too look like I'm going to head home in a week to a house in turmoil. That'll be fun...
